Øscillum’s etymology is ancient — tied to the concept of suspended motion. In Rome, an Oscillum was a small charm hung from a tree, left to sway in the wind to ward off misfortune. From the rotational swaying of these Oscilla came the root of the word oscillation itself.

Everything oscillates.

  • The rise and fall of empires.
  • The wins and losses of a man.
  • The vibrations of electrons within an atom.

We see this natural pattern in perceived truth, culture, power, and in every element that shapes our existence.
